Each tree has the fast-growing needles and do not lose their leaves / needles. White Pine will grow almost anywhere, but not the reduction of the lower branches. And plenty of room for the width. In addition, a small fountain in your garden is where you the sound that drowns even more. It adds value to your home.

Trees and shrubs can block sound, but it will not drown completely.

Typically, the largest and most dense trees, the better. Italian cypress, will probably be the best option, but it is pretty ugly. Alamos could work, but are outdated, but in winter they will not do much good.

It is difficult to recommendations of W / O-Zone to know what you live or receive the kind of sun the area.
